Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series 'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Also, she is known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Born to a department-store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin began her career in acting in the age of seven years old when her aunt who served as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing her a role in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy". After her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to secure significant roles on both television and cinema. Martin has also been an artist and photographer. Martin is also a mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus. Since her sister's tragic death at the age of 19, Martin has worked to spread awareness of Lupus and its symptoms.
